2020, a year of magic.This year, the COVID-19 pandemic, floods, snow disasters… all tugged at our thoughts;It was also this year, ‘In turbulent seas, true heroes emerge.’ The national cohesion highlighted under disasters and the ‘life-first’ spirit in fighting the pandemic moved us deeply.To actively respond to the government’s call, avoid gatherings and crowds, and help win the battle against the pandemic, Maxin temporarily canceled the offline annual meeting and for the first time attempted an online ‘cloud’ annual meeting to review and pay tribute to every ordinary yet remarkable you and me.

At the start of the annual meeting, Chairman Wang Xiaoya delivered a New Year’s speech, briefly reviewing 2020, emphasizing the vastness of life and the powerful national cohesion, and highly affirming the performance of Maxin employees over the past year. Maxin employees actively practiced the Chinese spirit of mutual assistance, focused on scientific epidemic prevention, resumed work in an orderly manner, fully engaged in professional learning and work deployment, contributing valuable efforts to the Healthy China strategy. It was also particularly emphasized that pathological knowledge is changing rapidly, and technology is advancing swiftly. Maxin employees must dare to face the unknown, focus on unmet diagnostic needs, integrate channels and resources, and take solid steps to continuously create value for users and benefit more cancer patients.

This year, Maxin achieved remarkable results, with annual performance maintaining steady and high growth for many consecutive years; against the backdrop of precision medicine, R&D progressed steadily, after-sales service quality continued to improve, and market growth opportunities are promising.

This year, taking restructuring as an opportunity, Maxin actively promoted diversified synergies with Jiukang and Sinopharm in strategic channels and technical aspects, aiming to jointly build new heights in pathology through integration. At this annual meeting, Mr. Zou Zuojun, Chairman of Beijing Jiukang Biotech, and Mr. Liang Hongjun, Party Secretary and General Manager of China National Pharmaceutical Investment Co., Ltd., brought New Year’s greetings to Maxin colleagues. While highly affirming Maxin’s work this year, they encouraged Maxin to continue striving, focus on new fields and growth points, to ride the waves and create new glories.
