On the afternoon of the forum registration day, Professors Chen Jie and Liang Zhiyong presided over the pathology slide reading session and discussion. The entire slide reading process was orderly and well-organized. The next day, the “Special Report and Discussion Session” commenced under the chairmanship of Director Liang Zhiyong. This conference focused on the progress and cutting-edge hot topics in pathological diagnosis in related fields such as digestive, breast, gynecology, endocrine, and head and neck, featuring special reports and academic exchanges.

Over two and a half days, 14 domestic and international lecturing experts dedicatedly created an academic feast on thoracic pathology. Through special reports and excellent slide readings, they shared the CRP diagnostic guidelines for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, analyzed strategies for frozen section diagnosis of early lung adenocarcinoma, pathological diagnosis and differential diagnosis of small lung lesions, clarified the pathological histological features of congenital cystic adenomatoid malformation of the lung, and explored the difficulties in diagnosing organizing pneumonia, presenting the latest diagnostic techniques and research advancements, aiming to improve the level of pathological diagnosis of thoracic diseases. Participants were enthusiastic, actively spoke up, and the on-site academic atmosphere was rich.

Professor Shimoda Tadakazu, a leading Japanese expert in early gastrointestinal cancer diagnosis, shared Japan’s experience and techniques in gastrointestinal cancer diagnosis through cases and engaged in in-depth discussions with participants.

The 21st Fujian Provincial Pathology Academic Conference

This conference attracted numerous pathology technicians from various cities in Fujian Province to actively register and participate, setting a new record for attendance. At the conference, Directors Ji Xiaolong, Zhou Xiaojun, and Liu Congrong delivered special academic reports and conducted paper discussions. The on-site atmosphere was intense, with experts and participants actively interacting, receiving positive feedback and evaluations from the representatives.

WHO New Classification of Lung and Thymic Tumors Training Course & The 63rd Southern Anhui Region Slide Reading Session

The conference invited Professor Meng Gang, Director Zhang Fan, Professor Li Chuanying, and Professor Feng Zhenzhong to give lectures. The lectures mainly focused on the WHO new classification of lung and thymic tumors. Through the experts’ excellent teaching, the medical staff present benefited greatly, deepening their understanding of the importance of pathological knowledge.
The bountiful June, full of vitality, immerses in the hopes of midsummer; the burning June, setting sail with passion, witnesses the vigor of pathology. We are entering an era of rapid development in pathology and precision medicine. Pathologists’ continuous pursuit of new knowledge promotes the high-speed development and progress of the pathology field, changing with each passing day. Fortunately, we have always been together.
