Public laboratory

Maixin Laboratory was established in the 1990s and has a history of over 30 years. It is one of the earliest laboratories in China to implement immunohistochemistry quality control. It pioneered the concept of immunohistochemistry standardization nationwide, establishing a relatively complete set of quality control methods and procedures. This has made immunohistochemistry technology more standardized and its results more reliable and reproducible. After more than thirty years of practice and promotion, it has gained recognition and praise from peers in the industry.

In 2015, the laboratory began offering FISH testing services. Currently, its molecular testing services are utilized by numerous hospitals, accumulating extensive experience. The laboratory now possesses advanced scientific research instruments such as a microscopic image analysis system, a fully automated staining system, and a high-definition image scanner, enabling it to provide customized IHC research services for research institutions and medical units at all levels. Through our efficient services, we have assisted nearly a thousand graduate students with research topic selection and project collaboration. These graduate students received positive feedback from the defense committee experts during their graduation defenses, and most of them published academic papers in SCI-indexed journals such as Journal of Clinical Oncology, Journal of Biological Chemistry, and Inflammation.

To meet the growing demand for immunohistochemistry experiments in the domestic and international biomedical fields, to provide convenient services for pathologists and medical researchers, and to offer higher-quality pathological diagnostic services to clinical practice, the public laboratory continues to be open to clients nationwide.

Commissioning Process

1. The commissioning unit or individual fills out the commission application form (downloadable directly from the Maxim website www.maxim.com.cn) and sends it to publab@maxim.com.cn.
2. After receiving the application form, both parties will discuss the details of cooperation, sign a cooperation contract, and pay a deposit.
3. After receiving the samples, experiments will be conducted according to the experimental plan agreed upon by both parties. A report will be sent upon completion.
4. After the report is completed, the remaining payment will be settled, and the samples will be returned.

Notes for Commissioned Experiments

1. The commissioning party must provide tissue sections or paraffin-embedded tissue blocks and other experimental samples before the start of the experiment. The detection system required for immunohistochemistry will be provided free of charge by our company. Primary antibodies not available from our company must be purchased by the commissioning party. The antibodies provided by the commissioning party should be able to specifically recognize the sample.
2. The immunohistochemistry detection chromogenic system is a non-biotin horseradish peroxidase-DAB system. Please specify if you have special requirements.
3. The fees incurred by the commissioning party for immunohistochemistry testing must be paid in full before the start of the formal experiment, after the preliminary experiment is completed.
4. The total number of samples submitted by the commissioning party must be more than 30 slides. An additional mailing fee (express delivery) of 30 RMB/time will be charged for customers outside the local area.
5. After the experiment is completed, detailed experimental methods and procedures can be provided. 6. The client is responsible for the materials and information provided. Any abnormal experimental results, delays, or economic losses caused by the samples or reagents provided by the client shall be borne by the client.
