Professor Liu Yanfang presents the inscription “Boundless Love” to Mai Xin, expressing deep affection and high hopes for Chinese pathology.
Professor Liu Yanfang is one of the pioneers of immunohistochemistry and immunopathology in China. He is academically rigorous and humble, and has long been a highly respected figure in pathology among Chinese pathologists. In the early days of the company’s establishment, Professor Liu Yanfang provided Maxin with many positive suggestions and encouragement regarding antigen retrieval and ready-to-use products. It is precisely because of such pathologists who care about the company’s growth and development that Maxin has been able to stay true to its original aspirations, strengthen its responsibilities, and forge ahead under the tide. In gratitude, on May 13, 2017, entrusted by General Manager Wang Xiaoya, Maxin’s team members visited Professor Liu Yanfang in Xi’an and had a cordial exchange with him.

With reverence in heart and gratitude in mind, Maxin’s team members recalled Professor Liu Yanfang’s care and support for Maxin over the years. Even in his advanced age, he still cares deeply about pathology and constantly urges the development of domestic pathology. Having known each other for twenty-four years, Professor Liu also expressed his appreciation for the hardships and difficulties Maxin has faced in its entrepreneurial journey over the past two decades. He thanked Maxin for its long-term efforts in promoting the progress of immunohistochemistry in China, commended the company’s achievements in independent research and development, and hoped that we would redouble our efforts, delve into research, and make more contributions to advancing the long-term development of domestic pathology. During the heartfelt conversation, Professor Liu generously presented his calligraphy, inscribing for Maxin: ‘Boundless Love, Maxin Company’s Development Does Not Forget to Benefit All Pathology Workers.’ These few words carry weight as heavy as a mountain; this is not only an encouragement but also an expectation! Maxin must continue to strive hard to live up to the deep hopes of the older generation of pathologists!
