Green Environmental Protection Starts with Me, I Contribute Love to Green
March is a season of blooming flowers and a time to sow beautiful hopes. On International Women’s Day, the female colleagues at Maixin celebrated a special occasion. Unlike previous Women’s Day celebrations, this year’s event advocated for environmental protection and a love for nature.
Amidst the drizzling rain, the female colleagues participating in the activity gathered in a private room on the fourth floor of the Peony Hotel, preparing for the afternoon’s public welfare event. During the meal, everyone not only received blessings from the company—’vibrant red roses’—but also engaged in a fun table tennis ball relay game, experiencing the joy of teamwork.
The continuous drizzle disrupted the original plan, but it did not dampen everyone’s enthusiasm for the public welfare activity. After lunch, the participating female colleagues headed to the scenic wooden boardwalk opposite the hotel to begin the highlight of the day—picking up trash. After receiving the ‘Maixin Environmental Protection Officer’ flags and gloves, everyone eagerly got to work, dividing tasks and cooperating, quickly getting the trash collection effort on track. Although there were not many pedestrians on this wooden boardwalk, there were still plenty of cigarette boxes, paper scraps, cigarette butts, and other litter to be found. Each time they picked up a cigarette butt or a piece of paper, they had to bend over, and these repeated bends made everyone realize the hard work involved in trash collection, as well as the responsibility and importance of protecting the environment. A colleague’s daughter also joined us in picking up trash, deeply inspiring us…
Picking up trash is for environmental protection, to purify the beautiful Rongcheng, and to protect Mother Earth. Although the contribution each of us can make is limited, when everyone contributes a little, the combined efforts add up to a significant wealth. This activity provided an excellent platform for enhancing everyone’s various abilities, fostering a strong sense of cooperation and team spirit. At the same time, it promoted Maixin’s environmental spirit of greening and protecting the environment, and also exercised everyone’s practical skills in environmental protection.
