Great News: Maxin Selected for Fujian’s “Top 100 Innovative Enterprises” List
On September 21, 2016, good news came from the China Pingtan • Entrepreneurs and Scientists Innovation Forum: Maxin was selected for the (first) Fujian Enterprise ‘Innovation 100’.Fujian Enterprise ‘Innovation 100’ is an annual innovation evaluation and service activity initiated for the first time in our province with entrepreneurs, scientists, and financiers as the main reviewers, jointly launched by media, think tanks, and economic associations. It aims to implement the spirit of the ‘National Innovation-Driven Development Strategy Outline’ and the ‘Decision of the Fujian Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Fujian Provincial People’s Government on Implementing the Innovation-Driven Development Strategy to Build an Innovative Province’. It focuses on technological innovation as the core to drive comprehensive innovation and supports the construction of a high-level innovative province with an efficient innovation system.
The evaluation activity is organized by a recommendation and selection committee composed of the council of the ‘China Pingtan • Entrepreneurs and Scientists Innovation Forum’, the Fujian Provincial Enterprise and Entrepreneur Federation, Fujian Daily, the Fujian E30 Enterprise and Entrepreneur Alliance, the Fujian Provincial Industry-University-Research Cooperation Promotion Association, and the Fujian Strait Economic Research Institute, among others. Centered around the 10 major technological innovation routes of the National Innovation Outline, the committee selects and discovers 100 innovative enterprises. The products applied for by enterprises must be newly developed in the past three years, possess independent intellectual property rights, and have product technological innovation reaching leading domestic and international levels.
Maxin’s independently developed Lumatas—Titan, the world’s highest-throughput fully automated pathological staining system, broke foreign monopolies and established a domestic enterprise’s independent brand. With this pathological system, Maxin was selected for the (first) Fujian Enterprise ‘Innovation 100’. Pathological diagnosis is the ‘foundation of medicine’ and the ‘gold standard’ for disease diagnosis. Maxin’s leading position in the field of pathological diagnosis was highly recognized by the selection committee.
