Fuzhou Maixin Successfully Holds Product Launch for “PathCom Fully Automated Pathology Staining System”
On April 7, 2012, the product launch event for the ‘PathCom Fully Automated Pathology Staining System,’ organized by Fuzhou Maixin Biotechnology Development Co., Ltd., concluded in Fuzhou. For this promotion, we invited representatives from 25 nationally renowned hospitals, including Peking University People’s Hospital, Hunan Cancer Hospital, Jiangxi Cancer Hospital, and Nanjing Military General Hospital, to attend the conference.
On the day of the launch event, not only was the latest PathCom Fully Automated Pathology Staining System showcased, allowing guests to experience the instrument up close, but a comprehensive explanation and demonstration of the system were also provided. Professional technicians performed IHC, FISH, and CISH tests on-site using the system. These tests were designed to meet the needs of routine pathological diagnosis and differential diagnosis. For the IHC test, 10 antibodies were selected: Ki-67, C-erbB-2, ER, CD3, CD5, CK5, CK(Pan), Bcl-6, EGFR, and Rb Gene Protein, with the entire process taking 3.5 hours. The HER-2 gene FISH test took 4 hours, and the HER-2 gene CISH test took 5.5 hours. All test results were of good quality, with accurate positive signal localization and clear backgrounds, receiving unanimous praise from the attending representatives.
