First National Pathology Science Popularization Creation Competition Successfully Concludes

Introduction:

To popularize pathological science knowledge, promote the spirit of pathological science, enhance public awareness of pathological science, and allow pathologists who are accustomed to working behind the scenes to step into the public eye and fully showcase themselves, the final of the ‘First National Pathological Science Popularization Creation Competition—This is Pathology,’ jointly organized by the Youth Committee of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association Pathology Branch and the Chinese Society of Pathology, concluded in the capital city of Beijing on October 30 after intense competition.

With a new competition format, how to continuously add value to pathology with the ‘light of creativity’ and how to better convey and correctly popularize science posed significant challenges for both the organizers and every participating pathologist.
Fortunately, the field of pathology has never lacked moving and heartfelt stories. Sixteen teams from across the country shone brightly on the final stage, incorporating various forms such as crosstalk, dance, rap, and situational dramas. Many young pathologists seized valuable opportunities to perform, allowing the ‘new generation’ to surge forward with momentum.

After the previous round of semi-finals, 16 outstanding teams from across the country successfully advanced and joined four mentor teams: ‘Gelunbu,’ ‘Fige,’ ‘Xiangyang,’ and ‘Lingbo Xianzi.’
At the final competition, pathologists showcased their diverse talents, with each team demonstrating remarkable expressiveness and delivering extraordinary audiovisual experiences. This allowed our on-site editor to feel the unprecedented passion and enthusiasm of the pathologists. After a thrilling competition, ‘The Battle,’ jointly produced by Beijing Tongren Hospital affiliated with Capital Medical University and the First Affiliated Hospital of Army Medical University, displayed the unique charm of pathologists, captivating every audience member and ultimately taking first place.

Maxim actively participated in this video science popularization competition. While being impressed by the performances and talents of the pathologists, we deeply felt their care and dedication to patients, as well as their love and commitment to the profession. We hope that through this science popularization competition, all sectors of society will pay more attention to pathological work; better stimulate the curiosity of the general public and young doctors; cultivate a generation of young pathologists who love science, have dreams, potential, and hope; jointly advance the construction of the pathology discipline and continuously expand the talent pool in pathology; and, in the context of normalized precision diagnosis, sustainably promote the healthy and sustainable development of China’s pathology career.
The future is promising!
