Fifteen Years of Splendor: Advancing Together with the Chinese Journal of Pathology
On April 19, 2008, Nanjing Taiping Shengshi Hotel was decorated with lanterns and streamers, filled with a joyful atmosphere. Taking the opportunity of participating in the ‘Ninth National Symposium on Diagnostic Pathology,’ Maixin Company gathered with nearly 250 pathology experts and professors from across the country, all editorial board members of the Chinese Journal of Pathology, and fellow pathologists at the ‘Maixin • Chinese Journal of Pathology Hand in Hand for 15 Years’ appreciation dinner. They reminisced about past glories, discussed blueprints for the coming year, and enjoyed a harmonious and delightful gathering.
Before the dinner began, three distinguished guests—Professor Wu Bingquan, Honorary Editor-in-Chief of the Chinese Journal of Pathology; Professor Zheng Jie, Editor-in-Chief; and Director Huo Linming—along with four pathology experts, Professors Liu Yanfang, Zhu Xiongzeng, Wang Enhua, and Zhou Xiaojun, delivered speeches. They unanimously affirmed Maixin’s academic marketing model, expressed appreciation for Maixin’s achievements over the past fifteen years and its commitment to actively promoting immunohistochemical diagnostic technology in pathology departments, and also wished Maixin a brighter future.
Subsequently, Mr. Wang Xiaoya, General Manager of Maixin Company, delivered an enthusiastic speech. He first expressed heartfelt thanks on behalf of the company to the guests attending the dinner and introduced Maixin’s working team to them. In terms of cooperation with the pathology community, he stated that Maixin will strive to provide the most timely and professional services to every pathologist in the future, do practical work for pathology, and contribute its own strength to advancing the pathology cause of the motherland.
As the ‘Happy Birthday’ song slowly played and amidst the deep blessings from the guests, General Manager Wang invited Professors Chen Jie, Li Gandi, Zhou Xiaojun, and Liu Yanhui, representing the east, west, south, and north of the motherland, to cut the birthday cake for Maixin’s fifteenth anniversary, pushing the dinner atmosphere to a climax.
During the dinner, the blessing tree shimmered with fluorescence, laden with congratulatory cards carrying the blessings and expectations of the attending guests for Maixin. Eight experts—Professors Fan Qinhe, Ma Tonglili, Lai Maode, Chen Guanghua, Zhang Naixin, Liao Songlin, Deng Zhongduan, and Director Chang Xiuqing—continuously delivered surprises to the seated guests through a lottery draw from the blessing tree. Amid laughter and joy, the distance between us was further shortened.
With the melodious tune of ‘Unforgettable Tonight,’ the dinner came to a close. General Manager Wang Xiaoya led the Maixin team onto the stage and bowed deeply to the attending guests. From now on, we will embark on a new journey. Maixin will remain as always, and we stand together with pathology.
