Introduction:

The head and neck region contains a concentration of vital organs with complex anatomical relationships, making diagnosis challenging.The 2022 5th edition of the ‘WHO Classification of Head and Neck Tumors’ and the June 2022 issue of the ‘Chinese Journal of Pathology’ with the ‘Expert Consensus on Pathological Diagnosis of Laryngeal Precancerous Lesions and Invasive Carcinoma’ have both updated the classification and precise pathological diagnosis of head and neck lesions.

To ensure that pathologists stay at the forefront of head and neck tumor diagnosis and treatment developments and enhance their understanding, the ‘National Seminar on Difficult Pathological Diagnosis of Head and Neck Diseases and Knowledge Quiz on Advances in Head and Neck Tumors,’ jointly organized by Beijing Tongren Hospital, Capital Medical University, Chinese Medical Association Publishing House Co., Ltd., the Editorial Board of the Chinese Journal of Pathology, and the Head and Neck and Thyroid Pathology Group of the Beijing Medical Association Pathology Branch, will be held from November 14 to 18, 2022. Pathologists nationwide are welcome to participate in the quiz!

Additionally, an analysis session for the quiz activity will be conducted on November 22. The relevant information is now notified as follows:
