2014 National Symposium on Standardization and Quality Control of Immunohistochemistry
Immunohistochemistry (IHC), as one of the most important auxiliary diagnostic methods in pathological diagnosis, has greatly improved the level of pathological diagnosis, enabling many previously difficult cases to be resolved through immunohistochemistry. Currently, countries around the world have successively explored the standardization and quality control of immunohistochemistry and achieved certain results. To standardize the application of immunohistochemistry in pathological diagnosis, build a deep-level academic exchange platform, create a broader and better academic atmosphere, and further advance the process of immunohistochemistry standardization and quality control in China, the “2014 National Symposium on Immunohistochemistry Standardization and Quality Control” was held in Fuzhou, Fujian Province from May 9 to 12, 2014, jointly organized by the Immunohistochemistry Quality Control Research Center of the Chinese Committee of Pathologists and the Fujian Provincial Pathology Quality Control Center.
This conference, themed “Immunohistochemistry Standardization and Quality Control,” specially invited relevant personnel from the Nordic Immunohistochemistry Quality Control Center (NordiQC), Soeren Nielens (SN) and Rasmus R?ge (RR), to come to China to share and discuss experiences in immunohistochemistry quality control. It also invited directors of well-known domestic quality control centers and pathology experts to exchange experiences from various provinces and cities in carrying out pathology quality control work, and to jointly discuss and share current hot topics and cutting-edge information in pathology. The specific details of the meeting are hereby notified as follows: Honorary Chairman: Wu Bingquan; Executive Chairman: Zhou Xiaoge; Members of the Organizing Committee: Chen Xiaoyan, Ni Xinghao, Wang Enhua, Yu Yinghao, Zhang Gu, Zhang Wei, Zhang Zhihong, Zhu Minghua (listed in alphabetical order by surname).
