Microsatellite instability is caused by the loss of function of mismatch repair proteins, a molecular feature with significant clinical implications in solid tumors such as colorectal cancer and endometrial cancer. To clarify the relationship between microsatellite instability and the loss of function of mismatch repair proteins, clarify its clinical value, accurately interpret the detection results of mismatch repair proteins, and promote the standardization and normalization of their detection, on October 17th, the “Mismatch Repair Protein Special Forum” was successfully held on the 91360 Pathology Live Broadcast platform, hosted by the Editorial Committee of the Chinese Journal of Pathology of the Chinese Medical Association and co-organized by Fuzhou Maixin Biotechnology Development Co., Ltd.
