2013 Academic Annual Meeting of the Tumor Pathology Professional Committee of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association

The 2013 Academic Annual Meeting of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association Tumor Pathology Professional Committee (National) 2013-01-04-057), organized by the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association Tumor Pathology Professional Committee and hosted by the Shanxi Anti-Cancer Association Tumor Pathology Professional Committee, Shanxi Provincial Cancer Hospital, and Shanxi Provincial Pathology Quality Control Department, is scheduled to be held from August 9 to August 12, 2013, in Taiyuan, Shanxi. The conference will invite renowned domestic pathology experts to deliver special lectures. The meeting also includes the “Master Nurtures Talents, Pathology’s Strongest Voice” National Pathology Elite Speech Competition and valuable difficult case discussions. The discussion formats are lively and diverse. To enhance interactive learning among participants, we will use an automatic voting system in the case discussions.

During the conference, the “Chinese Anti-Cancer Association Pathology Slide Diagnosis Competition” will be held. The competition awards include one first prize, three second prizes, and six third prizes. Young pathology workers under the age of 45 are eligible to participate (to ensure fairness and impartiality, personnel from the slide-providing units will not participate). Participants must register in advance before the meeting. The conference also features special Outstanding Academic Awards to encourage attendees to actively participate in academic discussions and Q&A sessions.

All participating representatives will receive 10 national Category I continuing education credits.During the conference, the “Participating Experts Roundtable Meeting” and the “Plenary Meeting of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association Tumor Pathology Professional Committee” will be held. All committee members are requested to attend at that time.
