2015 Immunohistochemistry Technology Theory and Application Training Successfully Concluded
To enhance the fundamental theory and application level of immunohistochemistry among medical institutions in Beijing and pathological technicians across the military, strengthen the understanding of immunohistochemical standardization among pathological technicians, and standardize the quality control management of immunohistochemistry, the “2015 Immunohistochemistry Technology Theory and Application Training” was grandly held on May 23 at the Academic Hall of the Surgical Building of Beijing PLA General Hospital. The event was jointly organized by the Pathology Equipment Technology Professional Committee of the China Association of Medical Equipment, the Technical Group of the Beijing Medical Association Pathology Branch, and the Pathology Technology Group of the Military Pathology Professional Committee. It attracted over 200 pathologists from across the country to participate in discussions and exchanges.

The meeting was chaired by Song Xin, leader of the Immunohistochemistry Group of the Technical Group of the Beijing Medical Association Pathology Branch. Shi Huaiyin, Director of the Pathology Department of PLA General Hospital and member of the Pathology Branch of the Military Medical Professional Committee, attended the meeting and delivered an enthusiastic congratulatory speech. Guests present included Wang Wei, Secretary-General of the Technical Group of the Beijing Medical Association Pathology Branch; Wang Wenyong, Deputy Leader of the Technical Group of the Chinese Medical Association Pathology Branch; Xiong Zhengwen, Chairman of the Beijing Military Region Pathology Professional Committee; Xiao Yanzeng, Leader of the Shanxi Provincial Pathology Technology Group; and Li Zengpeng, Leader of the Chongqing Pathology Technology Group. The venue was packed, and order was well-maintained.

Teachers Mei Fang from Peking University Third Hospital, Daniel Lin from Taiwan Chung Shan Medical University, Song Xin from PLA General Hospital, Liu Xiuyun from the Cancer Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, and Luo Yufeng from Peking Union Medical College Hospital provided detailed explanations and introductions on the pre-processing of immunohistochemical staining, staining techniques, and quality control processes. The on-site participants benefited greatly, consolidating and enriching their theoretical foundation and operational skills in immunohistochemistry knowledge, while also broadening their horizons and thinking.


Zhou Honghui from our company’s Quality Inspection Department shared insights on the “Construction of Indoor Quality Control Management System for Immunohistochemistry,” which received recognition and praise from the attending representatives.

The case analysis and discussion by Teacher Liu Ming from the Air Force General Hospital of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army and Teacher Yu Qi from the General Hospital of the PLA General Staff Department sparked great interest and enthusiasm among the representatives. The exciting interactions pushed the overall atmosphere of the meeting to its peak. Experts provided vivid and detailed answers to the questions raised by the representatives. The meeting concluded successfully in a cheerful and lively atmosphere, and training certificates were awarded to the participants after the event.
