2014 “Autumn in Korea” Photography Contest Selection Event

“Annyeonghaseyo!”

Flying over the Yellow Sea and crossing the border, we arrived at our destination—South Korea in this early autumn season.

During the 6-day, 5-night journey, we wandered through the volcanic landscapes of Jeju Island, wearing hanbok, making kimchi, climbing Sunrise Peak, and visiting Seopjikoji; we also traversed the modern city of Seoul, passing by the Blue House, touring Gyeongbokgung Palace, and savoring the joy and crowds of Lotte World.

We recorded every scene with our cameras, freezing them in the lens. To continuously improve employees’ artistic appreciation and encourage the creation of outstanding works, the company held a “Autumn Photography in Korea” competition after the trip. In a short time, 53 colleagues submitted 358 works. A panel of judges evaluated each submission, selecting 8 excellent works and 16 shortlisted entries. Below are some of the award-winning works:
